2016 Honolulu Festival March 11-13

Blending the vibrant cultures of Asia, the Pacific, and Hawaii into a weekend-long extravaganza, the Honolulu Festival celebrates the beautiful diversity of the islands. From March 11 to 13, you can see live entertainment, educational activities, local food traditions and an incredible array of art. The events are all free and open to the public, so come out and honor the unique heritage of Hawaii.

On Saturday, March 12, the Hawaii Convention Center hosts a craft fair, carnival activities, and food festival. The day ends with Aloha Dance Convention that includes artists from around the world showing off their skills from professional groups to Japanese traditional arrangments.

The Grand Parade down Kalakaua Avenue is a highlight of the weekend and strolls right by our Waikiki hotel. Artistic troupes of all types strut and dance their way through Downtown Honolulu as thousands of cheering revelers line the streets. See stunning floats, elaborate costumes, ancient drumming techniques, and music from Hawaii and beyond.

The festival comes to a spectacular conclusion on Sunday evening with the Nagaoka Fireworks Show. Experience Pacific Harmony as the skies light up with a multitude of colors over Waikiki Beach. Don't miss the 22nd annual Honolulu Festival
