Mo'ili'ili Summer Fest

Want to experience a real community festival on Oahu? Don't miss the Mo'ili'ili Summer Fest on July 2nd. This annual neighborhood street fair celebrates the unique culture of this multi-ethnic community where Hawaiians, Hawaiian-Chinese, and Japanese Americans have all left their mark.

The fun takes place all day long from 4 pm to 10:30 pm. Check out more than 20 food vendors selling local cuisine from the islands or browse the pop-up retail shops to search for unique gifts from Hawaii. Throughout the day, you and your family can experience a variety of special events. Enjoy Honolulu's largest Bon Dance, a traditional form of Japanese dance that honors one's ancestors. Listen to majestic Taiko drummers as they show off their incredible skills live for the audience. Check the Mo'ili'ili Summer Fest schedule for the full details.

As one of the best things to do in Honolulu, Hawaii, you can also tour through a series of fascinating historical photos at the Mo?ili?ili Community Center to get an inside look at one of the country's most diverse neighborhoods. The University of Hawaii School of Earth Science will have interesting games for kids, and you can learn about the annual Cherry Blossom Festival that happens every March.

Mo'ili'ili Summer Fest takes place less than 10 minutes from our Waikiki Beach resort. There is free parking on the University of Hawaii campus with free shuttle service to the event from 4 pm to 10:30 pm.
