Celebrate the bounty of summer with a fantastic food and wine event at the Honolulu Art Museum on Friday, August 5th. August Moon 2016 is an unforgettable night that blends incredible local art, Hawaiian cuisine, and international wine into one amazing event. After you grab a glass of wine, browse through 12 exclusive works by local artists. If you see something you like, you can bring it home because the artwork will be for sale. After enjoying a delicious plate of food, watch famed international artist Hua Tan perform a live mural painting in the museum's courtyard.

Savor tastes from 15 local eateries including Hy's Steak House, Top of Waikiki, HoMA Cafe, and many more. Tickets are $145 ($115 for museum members) and $160 at the door. The event runs from 6 pm to 9 pm and all proceeds from the event benefit art education at the museum.
