Sunshine, gentle tropical rains, and bountiful oceans make the Hawaiian islands a bastion of fresh, fabulous food. Explore island and international culinary delights at the Hawaii Food & Wine Festival October 14-30. Events spread over three of our islands--Oahu, Maui, and Hawaii--so make sure you explore the events on Oahu near the Holiday Inn Waikiki Beachcomber hotel.
Three Weekends of Taste
Not only is the event so big it needs three islands, it needs three weekends, too. Master chefs and sommeliers will give talks, presentations, and tasting experiences incorporating the flavors of the islands and the rest of the world.
Traditional Hawaiian Experiences
Hawaiians celebrate food and family at luaus, so don't miss the Urban Luau 10/26. Five chefs and a fine Hawaiian restaurant will reinvent a Hawaiian classic, and you can test the new and the traditional at one sitting.
A World of Flavors
Hawaiian Airlines brings travelers from around the world to Hawaii, and their Culinary Flight brings dishes from around the world to the food festival. Twenty chefs and twenty fine wines offer a menu that isn't what you think of as "airline food." At the Culinary Masters event, Eastern and Western cooking techniques combine to find balance and flavor.
Wines get equal emphasis at this food and wine festival, with tastings of Champagne, Bordeaux, and more.
Enjoy Hawaii's Beaches Along with the Food
When you stay at the Holiday Inn Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel, you're perfectly located to enjoy the food festival events as well as Waikiki Beach. Our location on Kalakaua Avenue is just steps away from the beach, the shopping, and the fantastic restaurants that offer fresh, flavorful food year-round.
