Ala Wai Golf Course

Official Hotel Partner of The Pga Tour
Situated just a little over a mile from Holiday Inn Resort Waikiki Beachcomber, Ala Wai Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-70 Honolulu layout. While it's completely flat and doesn't feature many sand traps, the course, which runs along the Ala Wai Canal, is challenging because of the multitude of trees. In addition to a pleasant round of golf, you'll enjoy gorgeous views of Waikiki attractions and landmarks, such as Diamond Head and the Koolau Mountain Range.

  • How long will it take to play Ala Wai Golf Course?

This is a very popular public course and it can get very crowded. That means play can be slow at times. Additionally, there is no shortage of trees, which can translate to a lot of time looking for errant shots. It's possible to play your round in less than five hours but be prepared to be out there at least that long and maybe even a little longer.
  • If I don't have clubs, can I rent them?

Yes, you can. Ala Wai Golf Course will rent you a set of clubs for $25.
