Pearl Harbor/USS Arizona Memorial

One of the top three most visited tourist attractions in Hawaii, the Pearl Harbor/USS Arizona Memorial is a short drive from Holiday Inn Resort Waikiki Beachcomber. Part of the World War II Valor in the Pacific National Monument, this historic site offers a window into what happened on December 7, 1941, the fateful day that catapulted the United States into World War II. There's a visitor center with several exhibits and a USS Arizona Memorial tour.

  • When is the best time to visit Pearl Harbor?

    This attraction is very popular throughout the year. On average, there are over 4,000 visitors every day. The busiest times are spring break, summer, and the winter holidays. If you can plan your visit around those times, you'll generally find smaller crowds.
  • How can I get USS Arizona Memorial tour tickets?

    You can book your tour online at www.Recreation.gov. Tickets are free but there is a $1.50 non-refundable convenience fee per ticket. If you don't book online, you can try to get a ticket at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, which has about 2,000 tickets available every day on a first-come, first-served basis.
